Lars Rune Rebbestad, nicknamed '''Rebbe''', is a guitarist, singer, songwriter and musicproducer from Hammerfest in Northern Norway.
Rebbestad released his first soloalbum, «The Chain Gang» in 1988 and the second «Lars Rune Rebbestad» in 1994. He composed the music for the musical "Bare Hasj!?" in 1987, and released the title song as a single the same year. Rebbestad participated as a conductor in the television show "Det store korslaget", TV2 in 2012, with the winning Team Steinar.
Rebbe has worked with a wide array of artists in several genres and nationalities. He was a founding member of the renowned countryband "White Canyon" from Alta. Their selftitled debut album received platinum sales and was releasen on the norwegian label "Spectrum records". They toured a lot around norway and also in several european countries. They also had the pleasure of touring in the homeland of country music, USA in the 1990´s. The american record label "Comstock records released their single "Our love is not perfect", which did great and got the honour of being "Pick of the week" several times in radiostations in and around Nashville, Tennessee. After several years hiatus, they released the single "Country boy" in 2016 on Rebbely Hills Records.
Rebbe has released several singles since 2014 and an album named «Looking Back» released september 6th 2025. 12 original bluesrock songs with a touch of jazz.
