Lorenzo Espinoza, better known as Lil Renzo, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and music producer. He was born December 18, 1991 in Taos New Mexico.

His love for music began at an early age, making his first beat at  the age of 12 and recording his first song at 13. Early on, his music would be greatly influenced by the Gangsta Rap sound of the 90's and early 2000's.

From 2014 to 2018, he stepped away from rapping to focus on selling beats, an experience that sharpened his production skills and gave him valuable knowledge of marketing and the music business.

In 2018, Lil Renzo returned with his debut album About Time, a fitting title for his long-awaited comeback. He began gaining traction by dropping viral remixes on social media, including Lil Troy’s “Wanna Be a Baller,” Dr. Dre’s “Still D.R.E.,” and Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams,” each video drawing in a new wave of fans.

His single New Mexico solidified his presence in his home state, resonating with listeners through its raw storytelling of the pros and cons of life in the Southwest. Growing up in the region shaped Lil Renzo’s unique sound—a blend of West Coast smoothness and Southern grit that defines his style today.

As he continues to release new music and connect with listeners, Lil Renzo’s fan base continues to expand. According to his 2024 Spotify Wrapped, he reached over 14,000 listeners across 85 countries—proof that his sound and story resonate on a global level.
