Sweden-based Korean producer, Adam Berntsson, professionally known as LILO, started making waves in Stockholm in 2020, but his story begins much earlier. Two days after he was born in Korea, LILO’s birth mother surrendered him to a local hospital & he was rescued as an orphan to a loving family in Sweden. It was at age 13 that LILO started playing piano and teaching himself music production. By 16, LILO dropped out of school to work full time, saving every extra penny to put into his musical dream.
Writing and producing every day, LILO was able to sign his first deal in 2020, where he released his debut self-titled album “LILO” garnering early support from many major artists, landing him official remixes and support from artists like R3HAB, Lost Kings, Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Timmy Trumpet and Matroda, amongst others. Most recently, LILO attracted attention from global superstars, The Chainsmokers, with his unofficial remix of their song “Riptide”, which hit over 50 million views on TikTok in less than a week.
Known for his genre-bending sound and rock solid production, LILO’s music is inspired by his love for both dance music with a pop-punk. His ability to capture the ears of music lovers from all walks of life makes him more than a one lane act.
