When then-solo artist John Thomas began working with producer Chris Liggio, the duo instantly knew it would be the collaboration that would define their artistry. Now operating under the moniker "Lipstick Gypsy," the two took the influences that brought them together and formed their own musical vision. Drenched in funk and falsetto, Lipstick Gypsy specializes in stank-face evoking music. Chris Liggio is no novice to production, having worked with major names like Nicki Minaj and Jay Z, but has a calling to make the sizzling, funky pop concoctions for which Lipstick Gyspy is known.
