Ian Wyatt is an artist working with music and immersive experience on the West Coast of Canada. Practicing on the occupied, ancestral lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and səlilwətaɬ peoples in a city currently called Vancouver. He’s a founding member of the Mood Hut collective, releases music as Slow Riffs and Local Artist on a number of labels, and works at Lobe Studio to support spatial sound creation with artists in the residency program.
Wyatt’s social practice investigates liminal opportunities for embodied listening, parasympathetic access and neural regulation. The goal is to create a clearing for your attention to be offered back to you.
