Formed in Mexico City in 1998 as instro surf rock band. After a first independent official recording in 2002 ( <a href="spotify:album:0HlEemp9yRnQraEb94ssUq" data-name="Los Magníficos">Los Magníficos</a> ) the original lineup changed and their sound turned to garage punk revival, influenced by bands as The Fuzztones, The Cramps, Mono Men, The Cynics, Ultra 5, Man or AstroMan? or The Ventures. Their lyrics are about women, sex, horror, zombies and mexican B-movies. In 2005 released a second album, <a href="spotify:album:0nSBHP2laWHfng7Wj1SZXl" data-name="Perversitas">Perversitas</a>, edited by the independent label Grabaxiones Alicia and produced by themself. This album showed a band completely diferent to first Los Magnificos's recording and since then they are considered one of the most importants mexican garage punk bands.
