Luna The Professor

Luna The Professor are a 4 piece indie rock band from Wishaw, comprised of childhood friends Johnny Irwin (Vocals/Rhythm guitar), Dave McNally (Bass/Backing vocals), Ross Caldwell (Lead guitar/Backing vocals) and Eamonn Kelly (Drums). 

After an amazing introduction year in 2018 which included 2 sell out shows at Glasgow’s world famous King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut the band stormed into 2019 with their debut Edinburgh show selling out 2 weeks in advance.
Their anthemic sound has drawn comparisons with the likes of Catfish and the Bottlemen, Jake Bugg and Two Door Cinema Club with Johnny’s distinctive voice and charisma taking their songs to another level.

The live shows continued with opening the main stage at Belladrum Festival, rioutous performances at Tenement Trail and Gathering Sounds before finishing the year off with a sold out show at BAaD in Glasgow.
