Major in Body Bear is an instrumental/post rock/math rock band formed by five
guys with different tastes of music. Catchy instrument melody lines and intricate arrangements without human voice are the biggest characters of our music while our performance on stage is intense, emotional and inspiring.
Formed by guitarist Myles, soon later joined the pianist Yifan and two former band members. Released the first Ep entitled “Topic 1 : Confession”. Then the drummer and bassist had left the band. After current drummer Andy and bassist Seadog joined the band, the band soon released studio work “Topic 2 : Relationship” and bring it on the tour in Taiwan and Japan in 2018-19. “Topic 2 : Relationship” was nominated by Taiwan Golden Indie Music Award for the best rock album of the year.
In 2020, the band released the latest Ep “Topic 3 : Moment” and was honorably nominated by Golden Indie Music Award for 2 awards : the best rock single of the year and the best live performance.
The lasted EP was released in 2021 which entitled “Topic 4 : Time”. And the EP releasing concert was held in a special way of placing the stage at the center of the audience in order to create an unique atmosphere to the performance. As a result, the concert has became a milestone of the band.
