Mantar is a German blackened doom punk metal duo from Bremen, Germany/Gainesville, FL. The band only uses guitar and drums for a solid wall of sound. Mantar was founded in 2012 by Hanno Klänhardt (vocals, guitar) and Erinç Sakarya (drums). Within just a few years of their inception Germany’s Mantar were scoring Top 10 albums in their native country. Moreover the band is filling 1000+ cap German venues, embarking on several tours all over Europe including all the major festivals, touring the US several times alongside Japan, Russia, South America/Mexico and South Africa. With their new album Post Apocalyptic Depression, Mantar smash the palette and punch a hole in the canvas. "We wanted to do EVERYTHING different from the last album. The last album was very produced. A huge sounding record, clean production. Display of power. That was what we wanted and felt at that time. Now we are trying to destroy what we've built up with the last album. There is a certain beauty in disappointing people's expectations."
