Mark John McEncroe is an Australian composer whose oeuvre and extensive body of work encompasses solo piano, orchestral, chamber, and ballet music.
His current collaboration features pianist Kristina Moditch, a distinguished graduate of Moscow Conservatory, recording in studio and performing in concert his piano and orchestral compositions.
His works have also been recorded by pianists Van-Anh Nguyen, John Martin, Helen Kennedy, and Yoko Hagino. His orchestral music has been recorded by leading ensembles The Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra, Sydney Scoring Orchestra, The Budapest Symphony Orchestra, the Zagreb Festival Orchestra, the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra, the Zagreb Sinfonietta, and the Bratislava Symphonic Winds, under the direction of conductors Anthony Armore, David Hernando Rico, Nayden Todorov, Michael Adelson, Miran Vaupotić, and others.
His works have been performed at New York’s Carnegie Hall and throughout Europe by orchestras including the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra, the Zagreb Philharmonic, The Ruse Philharmonic, the Budapest Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Royal Orchestra.
McEncroe’s compositions are published by Wirripang. His recordings are available through major physical and digital distributors and streaming platforms. McEncroe’s music is released through Modern Classical X and by PARMA Recordings’ Navona label.
