Mark Mancina's success grew in 1994 when Hans Zimmer asked him to produce and arrange three Elton John songs for the Disney film "The Lion King" by Disney and official.BVC.music. The soundtrack not only earned him a Grammy, but a song he had co-written for the project but not used in the film was reused for the 1997 Broadway musical version ("They Live in You"/"He Lives in You"), earning him a second Grammy for the cast album.
