Martin Luke Brown is a British artist, songwriter and producer whose music blends soulful storytelling with cinematic ambition.
Across the past decade he’s built a prolific genre-spanning catalogue, writing and producing for the likes of Lizzy McAlpine, Nectar Woode, James Smith, Victoria Canal, Sam Tompkins, and perhaps surprisingly K Pop outfit BTS.
He’s also one-quarter of FIZZ, the genre-blurring band formed alongside Orla Gartland, dodie and Greta Isaac. Although only launching in 2023, they landed a Top 40 debut album within 6 months, selling out a headline tour and playing Glastonbury before announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2024 just one year later.
Martin’s solo work walks the line between intimate and expansive, full of heart, grit and curiosity. His debut album 'damn, look at the view ! was described by Dork as “profound and unpretentious… a masterclass in vulnerability,” while Clash called him “one of the UK’s most quietly essential voices.”
His latest release 'man oh man !' is a candid exploration of masculinity, closure and moving forward.
