After cutting his teeth on open mics around the Bay Area, San Francisco songwriter Matt Jaffe was discovered by Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads at age 16. After recording his debut together, Matt formed a band, dropped out of college, and hasn't looked back. Since then, he has cowritten with Tom Higgenson of Plain White T’s, opened for Wilco and Blues Traveler, and has seven albums to his name. Inspired by the likes of Elvis Costello, Tom Petty and Stephin Merritt, Matt is continuously writing and recording to build a songbook that honors his heroes.
