Matt Ngesa

Matt Ngesa is a singer-songwriter living in Nairobi, Kenya performing and self-producing indie, rock and pop music.

Recently making his international debut on A COLORS SHOW with his newest single Muse, Ngesa has been featured in multiple show-stopping events such as Afrocoustic and Tis' The Season 2023 as a solo artist. He has also lent his backing vocals to some of Kenya’s entertainment giants such as Sauti Sol's SOLFEST (2023), Blankets & Wine for Muthoni Drummer Queen (December 2023) and for Fena Gitu and Blinky Bill (April 2024).

Since the release of his first EP, Matt has produced and released 3 indie-pop singles: Quick Fix, Oh Shoot and River - soon to be joined by a studio version of his audience's most listened song, Muse. These musical extracts - from a bigger project to come - have paved the way for Matt’s creative vision into a soulful soft rock era, all inspired from his western upbringing and love for rock and indie music.
