Matt Reale and the Glenns is a rock band from Charleston, SC. This project started in January of 2020, just before the COVID pandemic. The original lineup of Matt, Drew Prentice, and Jonathan Gerstl began playing together through established friendships in the local music scene.

Our current lineup consists of Matt still on guitar and vocals, Josh Butler on bass, and a rotation of talented drummers from the Charleston music scene.

Our music mainly draws influence from Classic Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Grunge, and Heavy Metal with elements of Modern Rock, Reggae, and Groove. We play a lot of shows in the Charleston area and we are currently expanding to Savannah, Columbia, and Charlotte.

The Glenns released our debut album, "From the Ashes" on 10/15/22 with two singles preceding it: "Dreams Won't Die" and "Simp". This album features some music Matt previously released as a solo artist and re-recorded with the band. There is also a lot of never-before heard material to knock your socks off!

As of October 2023, we are working on a new EP and are planning to release a single in early December.
