Mawimbi

Launched in 2013, Mawimbi is a Paris-based collective of DJs and musicians dedicated to building bridges between african musical traditions and contemporary electronic music. For the past seven years, Mawimbi DJs and producers have made a name for themselves by breathing new life into Europe’s music scene with their infectious grooves.
 
The collective&#39;s music navigates between genres and eras in an unconventional way, seamlessly blending afro-house, electronic highlife and shamanic techno into their own dance strain.
