British born musician <a href="spotify:artist:0CaMud7MWVRvZObs0H4zwM" data-name="Mark Gemini Thwaite">Mark Gemini Thwaite</a> aka <a href="spotify:artist:3PqVHXAGKxJxt6V4vR6pvi" data-name="MGT">MGT</a> has performed with a variety of artists over the years, including a long tenure with British goth rockers <a href="spotify:artist:4SAdMucvHyws4QTeAUsPtE" data-name="The Mission">The Mission</a>; as guitarist for <a href="spotify:artist:7zeHJIIfNStVfxlbT72UwY" data-name="Peter Murphy">Peter Murphy</a> of <a href="spotify:artist:5N5tQ9Dx1h8Od7aRmGj7Fi" data-name="Bauhaus">Bauhaus</a>, several albums and tours with UK Trip hop pioneer <a href="spotify:artist:6hhA8TKRNryM8FNzqCqdDO" data-name="Tricky">Tricky</a>, and recorded &amp; performed with electronic legend <a href="spotify:artist:5KQMtyPE8DCQNUzoNqlEsE" data-name="Gary Numan">Gary Numan</a>, also <a href="spotify:artist:6ogn9necmbUdCppmNnGOdi" data-name="Alanis Morissette">Alanis Morissette</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:12VaqyEhgwDRuFfEqbnrpz" data-name="PJ Harvey">PJ Harvey</a> and more.


Following a collaboration with <a href="spotify:artist:7qiasQ4RQjsS5hGSuMvupu" data-name="Al Jourgensen">Al Jourgensen</a> of <a href="spotify:artist:1DXylZlWbVvlckNqwvjTEt" data-name="Ministry">Ministry</a> on a joint single, this lead to a collaboration with various vocalists for debut MGT album ‘Volumes’ released in 2016, including a single with <a href="spotify:artist:1c30Y9mJTjoLZhkKxDQMaR" data-name="Ville Valo">Ville Valo</a> of Finnish love metallers <a href="spotify:artist:74aLweE8FHHf4yN5TWv1GM" data-name="HIM">HIM</a>, a brooding hard rock version of <a href="spotify:artist:0LcJLqbBmaGUft1e9Mm8HV" data-name="ABBA">ABBA</a>’s 70&#39;s classic ‘Knowing Me Knowing You’.

In 2018 MGT releases a single collaboration with Lol Tolhurst and Porl Thompson, both founder members of <a href="spotify:artist:7bu3H8JO7d0UbMoVzbo70s" data-name="The Cure">The Cure</a>. This is followed by the sophomore MGT album &#39;Gemini Nyte&#39;, co-written with Ashton Nyte who handles all vocal duties, along with <a href="spotify:artist:6VanFFdLaLcYriXRCbRDM7" data-name="Big Paul Ferguson">Big Paul Ferguson</a> from <a href="spotify:artist:0Zy4ncr8h1jd7Nzr9946fD" data-name="Killing Joke">Killing Joke</a> on drums, plus a guest vocal by Burton C.
