I knew I was destined to be a rapper before the Golden Era of Hip Hop even came about. It was around 1987. I was listening to the album Dana Dane with Fame in our one bedroom building that housed six of us in the South End of Peoria IL. I was sitting on the floor of "my bedroom" which was a sleeping bag on the closet floor when it hit me. I always got the chills listening to the good Hip Hop and on this day I was singing along to Dana Dane when Hip Hop chose me.
What I was chosen for on that day remains to be seen.
I started out freestyling with friends then I bought a drum machine and some turntables. Pretty soon I was in a rap group and hosting an open mic. This was in the mid to late 90’s into the 2000’s.
I eventually pieced together my own studio and I have been creating and releasing music independently since 2014.
