Lunga Rululu, better known as Mr Luu, is a 2010 Metro FM Award Winner on an album he did with Professor Langa, titled the "University Of Kalawa Jazmee", and a 2020 SAMA Award Winner on an album he did with Lungisa Xhamela, titled "Heart To Your Soul".
Mr Luu grew up in Zwide, Port Elizabeth, in the Eastern Cape, where he formed the group, Point 5; with Heavy K, MSK, DJ Tea and Q-Bass.
In 2012, the group released an album titled, "First Point", under Kalawa Jazmee Dance, with hit songs, "Tell Me", "Into Yam" - feat Big Nuz and DJ Tira.
Mr Luu is a resident DJ at two SABC Radio Stations; Motsweding FM (Tuesdays at 17:30 - 18:00) and at Tru FM (Fridays at 17:40 - 18:00).
On the drums, Mr Luu is a beast. Since the days of Point 5, his signature was the drums. However, a song cannot live on drums alone. He prides himself with proper House music production. When he is on the ones and twos, deciding which way he wants the crowd to move their waists, he transforms into something the crowd has never seen before.
