Mona Vale is the brainchild of London-based songwriters and producers Jamie Hoddle & Lewis Gregory
With influences ranging from production trailblazers Maribou State, Four Tet & Bonobo, alongside house tastemakers such as Dam Swindle, Folamour and Crazy P, the pair have managed to create a melodic and absorbing blend of funk-flecked dance music over the last year combining emotive melodies with disco house rhythms.
Growing up in bands together since being teenagers, the pair have taken their indie musicianship and tilted the focus towards making music built for clubs.
Their 2021 release of 'Solis' has gained support from Annie Mac, Danny Howard & Jaguar on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing, as well as widespread blog and press support.
