From deep south Brooklyn, Monica has been turning to poetry and music ever since the cringe-worthy middle school days. Monica taught herself guitar and ukulele in the 9th grade, which gave her a canvas to slowly spill her running thoughts on to. Influenced by the hip hop scene, the folk scene, and her random cluster of experiences, Monica's music is much like a forever growing audio album.
