Nastyboy Klick were a Latin rap group formed by Phoenix-based MC Magic (Marco Cardenas), who had founded Nastyboy Records in 1991. After releasing the solo album Don't Worry in 1995, he formed the Klick and released the debut album Tha First Chapter, which received major-label distribution from Mercury. The album yielded a Billboard Top 100 hit in "Down for Yours," which featured talkbox vocals by Roger Troutman, a primary influence on the group's smooth, funky sound. The 1998 follow-up Tha Second Coming featured another hit, "Lost in Love" (a remake of one of Magic's older tunes), as well as "I Know You Want Me," a duet with dance-pop singer Ce Ce Peniston. Magic, along with members Dos (Daniel Salas) and Zig Zag (Ricardo Martinez), continued recording together, but changed the group name to NB Ridaz for legal reasons. After releasing two albums, the group disbanded in 2006. ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
