Welsh born songstress Nay Shalom has been dabbling in her Neo-Classical side project for over a decade. Despite never having piano lessons and playing solely by ear, Shalom pulled influences from Ludovico Einaudi and Ólafur Arnalds from a young age. She then composed in her free time whilst primarily songwriting for other artists and attending university in London. Alongside her international publishing deal with H.I.M Taiwan, landing multiple features in Netflix series and film as well as for international artists Angela Chang, Janice Yan, Where Chou, Nauledge Huang, Shalom's classical works slowly gained recognition with Sonder House, and she continued to release several other works through the New York based label until late 2022. As well as championing a regular presence on BBC Introducing Radio Wales, Shalom has also had her works included in the BBC Sounds Sleep Podcasts which is still available to all those in need of a sleepy soundtrack.
