Emmanuel Nkamare popularly known as Nkay, stands out as a frontliner of the contemporary Afrogospel sound currently churning out of Africa and flagged by the #Afrogospeltotheworld movement

Born and raised in Nigeria, by 14 he started writing and performing music at his Secondary School chapel with a group of friends then known as the MOV, being influenced by artists such as Frank Edwards, Mali Music, Lecrae and the like . By age 19 he moved to London in pursuit of a law degree during which he was discovered by one of his role models Frank Edwards and following that, he debuted with his break out single "Your love" which captured the attention of both the Gospel and mainstream media.

Nkay’s music widely known for its infectious urban Afro Melodies laced with Christian themed lyrics has since then gone on to grab the attention of the gospel music industry both in Africa and the rest of the world.

The music is different, the sound is catchy and the the lyrics are simply thought provoking, Nkay is without a doubt set to bring in an unfound marriage of faith and melodies to the African music scene and the world at large.
