Blending her love of soulful vocals with ethereal pop production, Nnic is the creative alias of Irish artist and performer Naoise Fitzgerald (Nic Gearailt). Beginning her career as a backing vocalist for Hozier, she has since forged her own path, amassing over 2 million streams on Spotify with her distinctive sound. Drawing sonic parallels to Caroline Polachek and Christine and the Queens, Nnic crafts music that is at once intimate and expansive.

Her debut single Pillars earned placements on Sommer Chillout and Soft Office, while her ambient love-letter single The Place landed on New Music Friday and The Most Beautiful Songs in the World. Renowned radio host John Kennedy of Radio X praises her as a “powerhouse vocalist,” while District Magazine celebrates her for having an “undefinable sound.”

Her debut EP, Slow Motion Fantasy, drew support from BBC, KEXP, Tinnitist, Le Future Wave and more. Alongside her solo work, Nnic is an avid writer and arranger, with recent co-writing and vocal credits on emerging London label The Disco Express’s Chateau D'amour EP and Summer Heatwave EP.

Nnic has performed at Other Voices, Ireland Music Week, Output, and venues including Whelan's and The Finsbury in London, to name a few. Her latest release, the Soul-fi single IWSR (I Was So Wrong), is out now.
