Okvsho (pronounced: Okusho) is one of the most interesting and promising projects in the European
modern jazz scene. The two brothers (Georg & Christoph Kiss) from Zurich,
Switzerland who form Okvsho let their original musical background in beatmaking
and electronic music flow in with the sounds of the young and vibrant European jazz
scene and discover new grounds at the same time.
Through playing with local jazz-musicians their live-band project emerged, which
celebrates improvisation, spontaneity and jazz as dance music.
Beyond their live performances, they also play lively and diverse DJ-Sets, in which they bring back
the spirit of soul, funk and jazz to the floor in a modern form.
In 2023 the Okvsho-brothers founded the label Current Moves, on which their lastest album A place between us was released.
