Snazzback emerges out of the globally recognised ‘UK Jazz’ movement, pushing beyond it by incorporating broken beats and bass music in a nod to their Bristol heritage. Their hybrid sound has captured imaginations as far and wide as Glastonbury festival, Ronnie Scott’s and Penabilli festival (Italy).
Their latest release “Within and Without” (Nov 2024) sees the band invite vocalists from all over the world to reflect on the theme of conflict in their own ways. Musically it delves deeper into their love of UK dance music: think jungle and garage, and a more produced sound (prod. by Doug Cave, Cousin Kula). They release with Worm Discs, who continue to be champions of the city’s underground sound
