Omon Breaker is the stage name of electronic musician Maksym Nazarov, who began his career in Ukraine in 2019. Raised on The Prodigy, Rammstein, and Juno Reactor, he blends percussion and broken rhythms with expressive basslines, creating an atmosphere of forbidden drive. His melodies immerse the listener in a state he himself calls the “club of anonymous solitude.” Maksym also incorporates his own vocal parts and lyrics, turning tracks into a complete novel with a main character and storyline.
In 2024, Omon Breaker teamed up with German musician Supergloss, creating the project Supergloss & Omon Breaker. Their debut EP ‘Visual Freak’, inspired by early trance and acid, is an energetic mix of melodiousness and dance rhythms.
Throughout his career, the artist has released significant works on labels such as Standard Deviation, BITE Records, and MHz Records, with performances at iconic venues across Europe, including ∄, Berghain, RSO, Tresor, Radion, KHIDI, and Fuse.
Recently, Omon Breaker has also taken on the role of curator for the independent Berlin project Das Werk, which creates an alternative space for electronic musicians and their listeners. Das Werk attracts like-minded individuals who share a desire for free self-expression and the preservation of the independent electronic scene.
