Otus (aka Sebastian Cole) is a London based producer and DJ who has quickly established his distinctive sound through his leftfield/techno productions, utilising analogue hardware to shape his unique approach to dance music.
Following on from an imprint on Dream Diary records, he went on to release his debut EP “Select/Rhythm” which focused on minimalist, modular based techno. Since then, Otus has gained support from the underground and established DJs: Pete Tong, Sister Bliss, Jaguar, Dixon, Jay Carder and many more.
His most recent release, a collaboration with Lawrence Hart, was put out on Paul Rose (Scuba) and Adam Moujahid’s label Echorex. This 2 track EP, an ode to 90’s rave culture, has seen huge support with multiple plays on BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM and tastemakers in the scene.
Alongside his dedication to producing unique dance music, Otus has developed himself as a very adept DJ having played in clubs across the U.K. His sets reflect his influences from the electronic scene spanning ukg/techno/leftield/bass and everything in-between.
