In 2020, PoLin decided to return home to build his career as a singer. In 2021, he sang interlude songs for the dramas《Tears on Fire》 and 《2049》, receiving critical acclaim. In 2022, PoLin released his first studio album《The Wilderness》 and held a title concert the next year. In 2023, PoLin participated in the TV reality show "Sing China" and became the first artist to receive all 4 judge's acclaim with a vocal-choreography performance.
