Professor Caveman is a band started by Rob Romano in 2014. With the help of his friends Louis Ardine and Mike Madden Jr., Professor Caveman was brought to life in the dingy basements of New Brunswick. Quickly building hype with DIY shows they release an EP entitled "grape."
Time went on, and within a year the original lineup with Louis and Mike was no more. Shawn Fitzgerald and Shannon Moore of another local band, Eagle Daddy, had then joined as replacements. They quickly formed chemistry and went on to release Vol. 2 with some free studio time courtesy of Converse Rubber Tracks.
Since then Professor Caveman has gone through numerous line up changes, constantly evolving their sound and building off past motifs. The power trio turned in to a 5 piece band with sometimes even bigger arrangements. They have toured all across America, on and off since 2015 . They have opened for numerous notable bands. Professor Caveman has since moved on to bigger and better things, now known as Chico Romano.
