Pueblo Vista

Paul Pastourmatzis is a seasoned DJ and &#34;bedroom&#34; music producer, making sounds since the early 2000s. The concept of <a href="spotify:artist:1p03eo7FG5sXEMs3lGFEwb" data-name="Pueblo Vista">Pueblo Vista</a> came around 2014, searching for instrumental music for his video-making. He sought inspiration from his legends <a href="spotify:artist:0IVcLMMbm05VIjnzPkGCyp" data-name="J Dilla">J Dilla</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3Rq3YOF9YG9YfCWD4D56RZ" data-name="Nujabes">Nujabes</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6kBDZFXuLrZgHnvmPu9NsG" data-name="Aphex Twin">Aphex Twin</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0cmWgDlu9CwTgxPhf403hb" data-name="Bonobo">Bonobo</a>. During the peak of the genre (2018-2020) his production collab efforts blossomed and along many of his peers, Paul tasted some success by landing on several editorial playlists (<a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DWWQRwui0ExPn" data-name="lofi beats">lofi beats</a>, <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DX0SM0LYsmbMT" data-name="Jazz Vibes">Jazz Vibes</a>) and gaining millions of streams. In 2021 he caught the attention of UNIVERSAL MUSIC and revived his &#39;Latenite Joints&#39; series along several solo releases and remixes. Co-hosted a successful podcast &#39;The Sunday Roast&#39; with his friend, <a href="spotify:artist:0poioytUUnO0BnaTYTSros" data-name="lazyboyloops">lazyboyloops</a>. The loss of his wife in mid 2023 had a significant impact in his life and music career, however his resurgence in 2024 was just a matter of time.

He&#39;s the founder of PVMM, one of the oldest labels in the space, willingly being the stepping stone (and good friend) to established artists of the scene. No wonder he&#39;s called THE LOFI DAD.
