Purples n' Oranges is an OPM band that was formed in 2017 at the University of Santo Tomas. What started as a group of friends jamming together for fun quickly evolved into a creative collaboration, with the band beginning to write original songs by late 2018.
Since then, they’ve made their mark with a distinctive blend of chill Pop, R&B, funk and soul—an infectious sound that’s been captivating their audience.
The band consists of Bong Manalang on the bass, Philip Nadera on the drums, Tom Tagra on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, Himig Borja on MIDI sequencers and backup vocals, Matthew Sola on lead guitar, Josh Evangelista on percussion, and Gio Cirio on the keys.
