From the vibrant heart of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, emerges Project Orange, a dynamic four-piece indie dream pop band renowned for their ethereal melodies & introspective lyrics. The ensemble features the talents of Diana Mapa (guitars/vocals), Martin Garces (bass/vocals), Justin Padilla (drums/vocals), & Nathan Celis (lead guitar/vocals). Together, they create a sonic tapestry that blends the shimmering textures of indie rock with the lush, atmospheric layers of dream pop.
In 2018, the band released their inaugural demo single, “Ctrl + Esc,” a track that quickly captured the attention of the music industry with its catchy rhythms & inviting lyrics. The song piqued the interest of Manila’s independent pop label, Lilystars Records, leading to the band’s signing. Under Lilystars, Project Orange reimagined “Ctrl + Esc,” releasing a polished version in 2019 accompanied by an official music video. This marked the band’s impressive debut & laid the foundation for their evolving sound.
Building on their initial success, Project Orange released a series of singles, including the enchanting “Sputnik Sweetheart,” the contemplative “Play, Pretend,” & the emotionally resonant “Almost.” Each release showcases the band’s growth & experimentation, solidifying their place within the indie music scene.
As they continue to explore new musical horizons, Project Orange remains dedicated to crafting songs that speak to the soul, inviting listeners on a journey through sound & emotion.
