Quarteto Jobim-Morelenbaum features <a href="spotify:artist:3pO5VjZ4wOHCMBXOvbMISG">Antonio Carlos Jobim</a>'s son, guitarist/vocalist <a href="spotify:artist:6lq7wtjRyBIwR2aJj57kuf">Paulo Jobim</a>, and his grandson, pianist/vocalist Daniel Jobim, along with cellist <a href="spotify:artist:5QdS83aNvQzKgj43VTdY8d">Jacques Morelenbaum</a> and his wife, vocalist <a href="spotify:artist:7EFkAxz0BUzUJ7ZmAdBmSN">Paula Morelenbaum</a>. With the exception of <a href="spotify:artist:0QcBwdBPnkfD4Y7XOMlENy">Daniel</a>, all of the group's members were members of <a href="spotify:artist:3pO5VjZ4wOHCMBXOvbMISG">Jobim</a>'s final band before his death in 1994, and <a href="spotify:artist:5QdS83aNvQzKgj43VTdY8d">Jacques Morelenbaum</a> is also the musical director for <a href="spotify:artist:7HGNYPmbDrMkylWqeFCOIQ">Caetano Veloso</a>, who wrote the liner notes for the quartet's self-titled album, released in spring 2000. Quarteto Jobim-Morelenbaum featured loving interpretations of some of <a href="spotify:artist:3pO5VjZ4wOHCMBXOvbMISG">Jobim</a>'s classics and also included performances by percussionists Marcelo Costa and <a href="spotify:artist:7eoxe0CyQFAF2xpYYvstkp">Marcos Suzano</a> and bassist Zeca Assumpcao. ~ Heather Phares, Rovi
