Revolver Cannabis is a regional Mexican group from Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico. Formed in early 2011 by producer and songwriter Geovani Cabrera and his brother, Gumaro Cabrera, the band’s founding members include Nueva Voz (vocals), Carlos Javier (vocals and hype man), Mickey (accordion), Alba (bajo sexto and vocals), Rigo (tuba), and Piti (drums).
Their debut album, Las Que Les Gustan a los Viejones, was released live in February 2012 and quickly gained attention for its energy and unique sound. It was followed by the studio album Seremos Eternos… Pero por Ahora Somos los Que Estamos in August of the same year. Due to its success, the group released a second live album, Que Les Gustan a los Viejones, Vol. 2: En Vivo con Tololoche, in September 2013.
In 2014, they released Balas, Rosas y Plomo, featuring the single “El de los Lentes Carrera,” which reached the Top 40 on the Digital Song Sales chart. In 2015, they followed up with the mini album Los Amos del Terror.
After a brief break, the band returned in 2017 with La Ruleta Sigue Girando. By 2018, they became independent, launching their own label, Los Cabrera Music. In October 2019, they released El Líder de la Manada, with the single “Felix Gallardo” quickly reaching millions of streams.
Today, Revolver Cannabis continues to evolve, marking a new chapter in their career.
