ROBERTO FRANCA, pianist and composer born in Fano, studied at the G. Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro where he graduated with maximum score, honors and special mention in 2002. He was subsequently admitted to the International Piano Academy “Incontri col Maestro ”Of Imola where he studied with Maestri Valentini, Rattalino and Petrushansky.
He is the winner of numerous prizes in national and international competitions, including the Rospigliosi International Piano Competition in Lamporecchio, Frechilla-Zuloaga Piano Competition in Valladolid, Rotary Velasquez Piano Competition in Madrid, Classical Pure Competition in Vienna .
His concert activity has always been intense, he has played in the most important concert halls in Italy and abroad. His musical interest is multifaceted, he faced Jazz and rock music, also elaborating concert transcriptions of famous songs by Queen and Guns N Roses.
His recording debut is with the record label Urania Records and is dedicated to the complete original piano music of Chick Corea, including works in world first recording. He works with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano and he recently become Artist for the agency Fever, starting to play at Candlelight Concerts.
