Robot Swing's weird.
Made up of four of the most intriguing and peculiar music minds from Taiwan. Robot Swing was formed out of a love of something 'different‘.
Comprised of: Chao Cheng (Keys), Yu-Ming a.k.a. Master PP (Drums), NZ (Bass) and Wei-Nong (Guitar）; though light in age, this foursome had already put in an incredible amount of work prior to Robot Swing's inception.
Robot Swing would eventually make their debut in the summer of 2022 with the jazz- funk-soul-hip-hop-rock-prog-folk infused “SYSTEM BOOTING…” The album would be met with rave reviews as they would go on to receive nominations for 'Best Band' and 'Best Single' at the Golden Melody Awards, 'Best New Artist' at the Golden Indie Music Awards, as well as winning 'Best New Artist' at the 2023 Fresh Music Awards, while receiving the '2022 Album of the Year' selection by Blow Media. Most recently, they were awarded ‘Best Band’ at the 2025 Golden Indie Music Awards, 'Best Live Performance' at the 2024 Golden Indie Music Awards, solidifying their reputation as one of Taiwan's most electrifying live acts.
