Rouge World is a New York City based Club and Hip Hop recording artist born and raised in Washington Heights to Harlem. Pursuing dance at the University of the Arts, she familiarized herself with acting, directing, producing and writing as well. Surrounded by an array of creatives, she found herself fully immersed in a new musical space. From playful freestyles to deep dives into new releases, Rouge would come to reacquaint herself with her affinity for lyricism going as far back the amateur poetry-filled journals of her youth. Producing a steady stream of singles from the eclectic club hit “Trap Door” to the gritty bar-riddled “Dapper Dan,” Rouge has irrevocably proven herself as a beacon for the diverse spectrum of New York City nightlife, as evident in her free-flowing transition across genres. In collaboration with Like That Records, Rouge is poised to make waves with She Ra, continuing the steady delivery of her one-of-a-kind New York City aura.
