Safa is a 25 year old vocalist who creates music that bridges the art of neo-soul and contemporary sound into millennial media. Her professional career began after her admission into The New School for Jazz and Contemporary music as a vocalist. Immediately after college, she featured in 5x Grammy award winning jazz artist Esperanza Spalding’s NPR Tiny Desk December of 2021. Since then, she has toured nationally and internationally with Spalding’s band as a background vocalist. When she’s not touring, you can find her in the studio collaborating with other artists or working in non profit with viBetheater experience, facilitating their song-makers program. Safa currently lives in Brooklyn; and her EP “Object of Desire” and latest single, “Keep Me Going” is available on all streaming platforms.
