SARAH QUINTANA
A fierce guitarist with an angelic voice— Sarah Quintana weaves the rich influences of cajun, jazz and folk music into her songwriting. Quintana is looking back on a decade of music- collaborations with Louisiana-based artists like Michael Doucet and Beausolwil, Leyla McCalla, The New Orleans Moonshiners and many tours abroad with French jazz ensembles. And she’s looking forward to her 7th solo release, coming Spring 2023, funded in part by the Threadhead Cultural Foundation of New Orleans.

Biographie SARAH QUINTANA en Français:
Quintana a grandi à La Nouvelle-Orléans où la musique en performance fait partie de la ville quotidienne. En 2009, après avoir chanté dans les rues de Provence au sud de La France ou elle a fais la rencontre de Marion Rampal et Raphael Imbert, Quintana s’est trouvée sur l’estrade de Lagniappe au New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival et sur l’estrade de Preservation Hall de Voodoo Fest. En juin 2010 et sur scène à Lincoln Center. Depuis ce temps, elle a sortie 7 albums pour lancer sa carrière solo singer-songwriter. En Octobre 2018 elle a composé et enregistré avec Christophe Lampidecchia, grande accordéoniste français sur un projet des lettres d'amour de la deuxième guerre mondiale.
