Scott Xylo (Born Shaquille Thompson) grew up in Leicester UK, raised on Reggae and R&B from an early age. Scott started experimenting with beat making after being inspired by Madlib, MF DOOM, DJ Shadow and Flying Lotus, which lead him into collecting obscure records.

Scott introduced the world to his Electronic Psychedelic Soul alter ego "Jon Glitches" with his Mixtape Analogue Eyes, With Digital Minds (2015). After getting spins on BBC 6 Music by Mary Ann Hobbs and Gilles Peterson, he got signed with Black Acre and released the Afrofuture Funk album, Find Us When You Get There (2018), he made a comic book adaptation and toured Europe.
