Second Date is the alias of London-based Henry Birkbeck, who released a string of originals and remixes between 2009 and 2014.
Most of his early releases were DIY-disco affairs, but his output gradually broadened to encompass anything that sat at the weirder end of dance music. One reviewer also called him a “slo-mo house fanatic”, which is not an incorrect assessment.
