Named after frontmen, <a href="spotify:artist:6anSMpBfB3fopGfbK85fXV" data-name="James McNary">James McNary</a> and Slater Aiello (also in hyperpop project <a href="spotify:artist:2GKJAbngyb5ywKkDCHOCtv" data-name="Plant Heads">Plant Heads</a>), Jam 'n' Slate is a psychedelic indie band from San Diego, CA. With Kellen Rose, Grant Gustin, and Nathan Goff filling out the rest of the roster, they intend to continue their journey into creating strange psychedelic tunes. Greatly inspired by the Australian, psychedelic rock renaissance ( <a href="spotify:artist:6XYvaoDGE0VmRt83Jss9Sn" data-name="King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard">King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:7ycDiDnCUNNpstcTwlXF8C" data-name="ORB">ORB</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4skJp5OKvcc9eKokiuhi2s" data-name="Pond">Pond</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:5INjqkS1o8h1imAzPqGZBb" data-name="Tame Impala">Tame Impala</a> , and others), Jam ‘n’ Slate are the only band to release a 16 minute song about an interdimensional egg god. They’re pretty sure at least.
