30 数年におよぶ庵野秀明とのコンビで、『エヴァンゲリオン』シリーズ全作を⼿がけ、世界中に

⽗うしおそうじ（1921-2004） を継ぎ、特撮アニメ制作会社ピー・プロダクション代表取締役。
近年では、東京オリンピック 2020 開会式「君が代」も⼿掛ける。
