Sie began his musical journey as a tape-op at Milo Studios in East London in 1994. After striking up an instant rapport with Howie B he became his faithful friend and assistant working on classic album after classic album, while honing his skills as an engineer.
Sie’s minimalist approach back then forged a distinctive sound and in 1997 following widespread acclaim from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Ross Allen and Patrick Forge his debut LP 'Ruban D'Alpha' was released. In the latter half of 97 he began producing and mixing for other people, first up was an album for French hip hop artist Roudoudou then onto albums for Skylab, Björk, UNKLE to name a few.
2018 still finds Sie in the control room, producing, mixing and lending his hand at musical directing for the likes of Depeche Mode, Rudimental, David Guetta, Luke Slater, Yonaka and Rita Ora amongst others. While Sie is happy working behind the scenes he is also working on new material and preparing to release on Pussyfoot Records.
