The heart of Stanfour's music is inspired by the endless expanse of the sea. Originally from the North Sea island of Föhr, brothers Alexander and Konstantin Rethwisch later settled along the coast of Los Angeles, embracing the journey from one coastline to another. Their music, characterized by melancholic pop and grand melodies, reflects the vastness of the ocean and the emotions it stirs. Teaming up with guitarist Christian Lidsba from Hamburg, they made waves in the music scene, earning gold and platinum awards for their albums and singles.
