高校からの友人である佐伯・石田・冨田で2004年に地元、大阪は枚方に
て3ピースバンド「SunSet Swish」を結成。
メジャーデビュー後、3rdシングル「マイペース」がアニメ「BLEACH」のED
テーマ曲に起用され、この年の第48回日本レコード大賞にて新人賞を受
賞、6thシングル「モザイクカケラ」はアニメ「コードギアス 反逆のルルーシ
ュ」のEDテーマ曲に起用される。2011年に一旦は活動を休止するも2017
年バンド名を「Swish!」へ改名し新たなバンド活動をスタート。2021年にバ
ンド名を「SunSet Swish」に戻し、2023年に13年ぶりのフルアルバム
「ENCOUNT」をリリース。そして今年2025 シングル『あんかい』をリリースし秋には全国ツアーを完走！！12月5日には恒例クリスマスライブを予定！
Saeki, Ishida, and Tomita, who are friends from high school, formed the three-piece band "SunSet Swish" in their hometown of Hirakata, Osaka in 2004. After their major debut, their third single "My Pace" was chosen as the ending theme song for the anime "BLEACH", and they won the Newcomer Award at the 48th Japan Record Awards that year, and their sixth single "Mosaic Kakera" was chosen as the ending theme song for the anime "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion". They took a break in 2011, but in 2017 they changed their band name to "Swish!" and started a new band activity. In 2021, they changed their band name back to "SunSet Swish", and in 2023 they released their first full album in 13 years, "ENCOUNT". And on May 6th, 2025, they will be holding a solo concert to commemorate their 20th debut anniversary, SunSet Swish Anniversary Live Shin Ai 20 in Tokyo, at SHIBUYA PLEASURE PLEASURE.
