Miho Fukuhara is a talented vocalist, songwriter, and stage actor from Hokkaido, Japan. Growing up surrounded by the natural beauty of Japan’s northern island, she developed a deep connection to nature. After a decade in Tokyo collaborating with artists like Leona Lewis and AI, she returned to her rural roots in Chiba, where she draws creative inspiration.
Discovered as a child after performing Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” on television, Miho was scouted by Sony Music at 15. Following two independent releases that sold over 10,000 copies each, her major label debut came in 2009 with "Rainbow," which sold over 150,000 copies and peaked at No. 2 on the Japanese charts.
Miho has performed at major venues and festivals like Blue Note, Billboard Live Japan, and Fuji Rock. Her song “Let It Out” was featured as the ending theme for the anime "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood," which enhanced her international recognition. Miho has collaborated with renowned artists such as Nathan East and Peabo Bryson.
In 2023, she fulfilled her dream by playing Effie Melody White in the Japanese production of "Dreamgirls," receiving critical acclaim.
In February 2025, Miho released "Rocafellas," featuring K . The song was originally a demo that Miho revisited, collaborating with producer Mabanua to create a neo-soul and City Pop vibe.
