Swimwear is the blissed-out electronic solo project of Tim Derricourt (Dappled Cities). Combining his love of the big voiced pop crooning of Bowie and Albarn with a homespun DIY sound recalling Beach House and The Blue Nile, Swimwear makes glittering electronic music made to make you feel. His first three releases (The Kissing Machine, Low Summer, High Summer), highlighted his love of the 80s pop crooning of David Bowie, The Blue Nile and Style Council, all crafted in a homespun DIY style, with songs like “Easy High” and “Hold On” making waves on blogs and radio.

For his latest release, Night Air, Derricourt turned a song-writing experiment into a fully-fleshed out concept album; inspired by the images of suburban isolation and burnt out love in Richard Yates’ 1962 novel Revolutionary Road, the seven expansive tracks chart the explosive start and disintegration of a relationship, capturing feelings of midnight isolation against the backdrop of a changing and unfamiliar world.
